Cocoa Chai

Chai Hot Cocoa
Makes 2 servings.

2 cups raw milk, coconut milk, or almond milk
1/2 cup chai tea concentrate (or two chai tea bags in a cup of hot water)
1/4 cup raw honey, maple syrup, or cinnamon infused syrup
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon Himalayan salt
Vanilla Maple Whipped Cream (optional)

If you are not making chai concentrate then prepare your bags of chai tea.

Mix the honey/maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a small bowl to make a paste.

Gently warm the milk over low heat (If you are using raw milk do not heat above 110 degrees). Mix the chai, cocoa paste, and milk. For fun you can use a milk frother and spoon the milk into the chai and cocoa mixture.

Pour into two mugs, top with whipped cream if desired.
